How do I access your chatbots?
You can get to our chatbots in one of two ways – either through Facebook or Twitter. Our Facebook chatbot – called BMO Bolt™ – runs through Facebook Messenger. Our Twitter chatbot – Virtual Assistant – runs through Direct Messaging.
What if I can’t find the answer I’m looking for?
No problem. If the chatbot isn’t able to answer your question, you can always chat with a live agent who can help you out!
Can the chatbot answer questions about my personal accounts?
No, the chatbot isn’t designed to talk to you about your individual accounts (for your safety and security). Also, please don’t include personal information in your conversation with the chatbot.
Are the chatbots available in English and in French?
Right now, our chatbots are only available in English.
