The Ron Jamieson BMO Financial Group Aboriginal Awards:

In recognition of the contributions of BMO’s former Head of Aboriginal Banking, BMO created the Ron Jamieson Awards to support talented Indigenous youth across Canada.

This scholarship was created in partnership with the Foundation for the Advancement of Aboriginal Youth (FAAY) of the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business.

Awards are for Indigenous youth enrolled in full-time post-secondary study. Recipients will be selected based on financial need, demonstrated involvement in their Indigenous communities, academic achievement and other measures of merit.

BMO Financial Group supports achievement in every field of study, with a strong focus on business, engineering, mathematics, technology and science.

BMO Student Internship Program:

BMO is here to help in developing students careers and gain valuable professional experience. The BMO Student Internship Program gives students the opportunity to see how their area of study may be applied to a career in banking. As a valued member of the team, students will get hands-on experience and be given the opportunity to participate in a wide range of developmental workshops and information sessions. Interning at BMO is so much more than a job, it is a learning experience.

Who we are looking for: All levels of full-time post-secondary students returning to community college and university are eligible.
