  1. BMO U.S. Dollar Accounts are not eligible for Canadian Deposit Insurance Corporation (CDIC) insurance coverage.
  2. You can have up to twenty (20) eligible Canadian or U.S. Dollar Accounts (Smart Saver and Savings Builder Accounts are not eligible) under one (1) Plan (excluding Practical Plan). One (1) account must be designated as the lead account. The lead account is the one you designate to pay any fees required by your Bank Plan, for example, your monthly Plan fees and transaction fees. If you select a U.S. Dollar Account as the lead account, all Plan and transaction fees will be charged in U.S. dollars. All accounts covered by the Plan are subject to the monthly transaction limit(s) for the selected Plan.
  3. One year is the twelve (12)-month period between anniversary billing dates. Your anniversary billing date is the date of the statement on which your annual fee is billed. If you qualify for a rebate, a credit equal to the annual fee will appear on the same statement in which your annual fee is billed.
  4. BMO U.S. chequing accounts are offered in U.S. dollars.
  5. Bills must be from U.S. companies or financial institutions. You are not able to pay your BMO U.S Dollar MasterCard from a BMO U.S. account.
  6. Applicant must meet one of the following eligibility requirements: be a new or existing client of BMO Private Bank; be a new or existing BMO Premier Services client; be a new or existing depository client with at least US$25,000 in deposit accounts at BMO Bank N.A. or at least US$25,000 in deposit accounts at Bank of Montreal; or be a Senior Executive/Business Owner of an existing corporate client, with the corporate client meeting the minimum requirements of US$25,000 in deposit accounts at either BMO Bank N.A. or Bank of Montreal.   7. Transfers submitted up to and including 4 p.m. ET will be processed the same business day. Transfers submitted after 4 p.m. ET will be processed the next business day. Funds will be credited to your BMO U.S. account within two (2) business days after the processing date. Transfer fees will be debited and credited to the BMO U.S. Dollar Account the same business day of the wire transfer initiation and the transaction will be described as wire payment on the account statement.
  8. A correspondent bank fee will be deducted from the amount transferred, for details speak to your BMO Banker. An incoming wire transfer fee may be charged to your BMO account, for details speak to your BMO representative.
  9. BMO surcharge fee is waived when you use your BMO Debit Card at a BMO ATM. A per-item transaction fee may apply, subject to your BMO account and/or the monthly transaction limit of your Bank Plan. You are not able to access U.S. dollar accounts linked to your BMO Debit Card; ATM withdrawals can only be completed from your BMO Canadian dollar account(s) at BMO ATMs. Foreign currency exchange rates will apply.

  11. BMO Mobile Deposit is available for select BMO Mobile Banking Apps. Users must be BMO Digital Banking customers who have had a BMO U.S. account for more than ninety (90) days. Deposits are not immediately available for withdrawal. For details, please see the BMO Mobile Banking End User Terms found at bmo.com/legal.
  12. Available to BMO Bill Pay customers only. Add bill payment to your online banking account by signing on to BMO Digital Banking and clicking the Payments tab, then the Enroll button.
