What is a business money market account?

A business money market account is a type of savings account designed for business owners. It typically pays higher interest than a standard savings account and keeps funds easily accessible. However, money market accounts may require higher minimum balances and limit the number of monthly transactionsfootnote 1. They are often used by businesses that maintain larger account balances.
