F A Qs

  • On your credit card Account Summary page, scroll down to the Transaction List. Then, select the transaction for which you need enhanced details.

Note: This feature is only available for those with retail credit cards.

  • The enhanced transaction details feature includes:

    • Point of sale (P O S)
    • E-commerce
    • Google or Apple Pay
    • ATM transactions
  • If you see something that doesn’t seem to add up, you can contact the merchant associated with that transaction. Their contact information should be available when you view the enhanced transaction details.

  • When this happens, it could be because the merchant that you’ve bought something from hasn’t shared their information with us. You’ll see a message saying “this business hasn’t shared this data” indicating this.

  • A pending transaction is an authorized payment you’ve made with your credit card that shows up on your history but hasn’t yet posted to your account. This means that the money has been taken out but hasn’t been reflected in the balance yet. You won’t be able to see any enhanced transaction details while transactions are in this state.

  • This means that your transaction has been moved to posted, but sometimes, it takes an extra day or so for the pending status to disappear on your account. This doesn’t mean that it’s been duplicated! You won’t have to do anything for this.

  • Here are two ways that you can dispute a credit card charge:

    1. Contact the merchant directly: If the error you’re seeing is caused by the merchant, it’s best to reach out to them directly to resolve the issue. You can find their contact information on the enhanced transaction detail page.
    2. If you suspect fraud, you can file a dispute by going to the “Dispute this transaction” link located at the bottom of the Enhanced Transaction Detail page. You can also call our Fraud Department or Call Centre for immediate assistance.

You can learn more about disputing credit card charges here.
