Installing your remote deposit software
Here are the steps you’ll need to take to set up remote deposits:
- Check your email. After ordering your scanner from BMO, we’ll send you a confirmation email with your user name and password. You’ll need that info handy to install the software.
- Install the software. You’ll need to set up remote deposit software on your workstation before you can start depositing checks. The software installation guide below can help you.
- Set up your scanner. The scanner connects to your workstation using a U S B port. When loading checks into your scanner, be sure to line up the lower left corners to prevent jams.
