Disability Index® recognizes BMO as a World’s Top Disability Inclusive Business
Recognition, Talent & Inclusion
Accessibility and inclusion are essential to creating opportunities for everyone to thrive. That's why we're proud to share that BMO has been recognized as a World's Top Disability Inclusive Business on the 2026 Disability Index® by Disability:IN, the leading independent benchmark for disability inclusion in business.
This marks the 11th consecutive year BMO has been recognized through the Disability Index in the U.S. and the second consecutive year in Canada, underscoring our longstanding commitment to advancing accessibility and fostering an inclusive culture where clients, colleagues and communities can succeed.
The Disability Index evaluates disability inclusion across key areas including culture and leadership, accessibility, employment practices, community engagement and supplier inclusion. The benchmark helps organizations measure progress, identify opportunities for improvement and accelerate efforts to create more inclusive workplaces.
"Being recognized as a World's Top Disability Inclusive Business reflects our commitment to creating a barrier-free workplace that is accessible, inclusive and welcoming for everyone. We are proud of the progress we've made and remain focused on fostering belonging and creating opportunities for everyone to succeed."
- Shannon Costigan, Chief Inclusion Officer

These efforts are supported by our Enterprise Accessibility Office, accessibility-focused initiatives and the advocacy of BMO Without Barriers, our enterprise employee resource group dedicated to advancing accessibility, inclusion and allyship.
"Accessibility and inclusion help create stronger organizations, improve experiences and unlock innovation. This recognition reflects the dedication of our teams across North America and reinforces the importance of continuing to build a more accessible future for everyone."
