  • You’ll need to share a few things to open an account online, including your name, date of birth, contact info, SIN, address, employment status, income source(s), and rent or mortgage amount. The better picture we have of your financial health, the faster we can let you know if your application has been approved.

  • There are a few requirements you need to meet to apply for a credit card with us. 

    • Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
    • Have not declared bankruptcy in the past seven years
    • Have reached the age of majority in the province in which you live (18 years in Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Quebec and Saskatchewan, and 19 years in all other provinces)

    How do I earn Points?

    You earn Points on eligible purchases when you show your Blue Rewards Member Card or use a Blue Rewards credit card or debit card to pay. Your everyday spending adds up to rewards you can use.

    How can I check how many Blue Points I have?

    You can access your Blue Rewards Summary on your Mastercard monthly statement. It will display the number of Points you earned on purchases for the stated period; however, it won't include Points from bonus or promotional offers.  

    You can also see your total Points on your Blue Rewards Member Summary through bluerewards.ca or when you download the Blue Rewards mobile app.
