Tom Flynn is Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer, BMO Financial Group. He was appointed to his current position in March 2011.

Mr. Flynn joined BMO Financial Group in 1992 and went on to serve in a number of roles within the BMO Capital Markets business, including Head of the Financial Services Corporate and Investment Banking Group. He was named Executive Vice-President, Finance and Treasurer in 2004 and acting Chief Financial Officer from October 2007 to March 2008. Mr. Flynn served as Executive Vice-President and Chief Risk Officer from March 2008 to March 2011.

Mr. Flynn is Chair of the Board of Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, Canada’s largest children’s rehabilitation teaching hospital.

Mr. Flynn obtained his MBA from the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario (with honours) and has his CA designation.
