Joanna Rotenberg is Senior Vice-President, Office of Strategic Management. She is accountable for building strategic capability across all businesses globally and strengthening the linkages between strategic plans, financial targets and business plans to help BMO Financial Group meet its growth targets and achieve its vision of being the bank that defines great customer experience.

Ms. Rotenberg joined BMO Financial Group in July 2010. Prior to joining BMO, Ms. Rotenberg had been a Partner with McKinsey & Company’s Toronto office since 2001. At McKinsey, Ms. Rotenberg was a leader within McKinsey’s Financial Services practice, serving clients within the banking, insurance and wealth and asset management spheres. She also led McKinsey’s North American retirement initiative.

Ms. Rotenberg is active within the Toronto community as a member of the Patient Quality and Safety Committee for the Mount Sinai Hospital Board.

Ms. Rotenberg received her combined JD/MBA degree from the University of Toronto, and her BA from the University of Western Ontario. She is also a member of the New York Bar.
