Any reports you create are only available for viewing on your screen, so you may want to print them out or export as P D Fs for safe keeping.
Make sure that checks and deposit details are stored in a secure place before they’re destroyed, like a safe or locked cabinet.
Remote deposit capture creates a virtual deposit ticket when you make a deposit. It’s saved to your image archive and you can view it in online banking.

Sometimes starter checks use stand-in check numbers along with a real bank account number. If that’s the case, the remote deposit system should be able to handle the starter checks on its own.
If there aren’t any stand-in check numbers, the system will warn you that the check may be a duplicate. It’ll show you both the original and the duplicate for verification. Once you confirm the starter check isn’t a duplicate, you can manually accept the starter check and override the warning.
