Types of income annuities

Life annuities
Guaranteed income for the life of the annuitant, issued on a single life or joint life basis.
We offer an optional “guarantee period.” If the annuitant dies during this period, the remaining guaranteed payments go to the beneficiary.
This annuity can be funded from non-registered and registered funds, including RRSPs, LIRAs, RRIFs, LIFs, RPPs and DPSPs.
Term certain annuities
Clients will receive a guaranteed number of income payments, which will be paid to your client’s beneficiary if they die before the term ends.
This annuity can be funded from non-registered and registered funds, including RRSPs and RRIFs.

We offer a 10-day guarantee for non-registered funds and a 45-day guarantee for registered funds.
