Tayfun Tuzun

Chief Financial Officer, BMO Financial Group

Tayfun Tuzun serves as Chief Financial Officer, BMO Financial Group, and is a member of the bank’s Executive Committee. Prior to joining BMO, Tayfun was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Fifth Third Bancorp, where he held positions including Senior Vice President, Treasurer and other senior treasury and finance roles.

 

Previously, Tayfun served in an executive capacity at FSI Group, LLC, a multiplatform hedge fund specializing in the financial services sector. He also held various senior positions in treasury and finance at Provident Bank. Prior to his work in financial services, Tayfun was a faculty member in the School of Banking & Finance at University of New South Wales, Australia.

 

Tayfun holds a Master’s degree and a Doctorate in Economics from The Ohio State University, as well as a BA, Economics from Bosphorus University, Istanbul.

 

Tayfun was appointed Chief Financial Officer, BMO Financial Group effective January 1, 2021.
