Rahul Nalgirkar
Chief Financial Officer, BMO
Rahul Nalgirkar is Chief Financial Officer, BMO Financial Group, and is a member of the bank’s Executive Committee. He leads BMO’s enterprise and group-level finance teams, alongside treasury, corporate development, strategy, accounting, taxation, investor relations and financial performance management functions.
Since joining BMO in 2022, Rahul served as Chief Financial Officer of BMO U.S. and CFO of BMO’s commercial banking businesses in Canada and the U.S. He was a central contributor to the development and execution overall U.S. strategy and is a champion of our leading employee culture. As a seasoned executive and leader, he has deep corporate finance experience as Line of Business Group CFO at Fifth Third Bank, and from GE Capital, Citigroup, and CIT.
A graduate of the University of Delhi and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Rahul was named a 2024 Daniel Burnham Fellow by Leadership Greater Chicago in recognition of his commitment to advancing the region’s economic progress through innovative leadership. He is also a member of the board of directors of the American Red Cross of Greater Chicago.
