Our Global Privacy Principles

Our Global Privacy Principles apply to all our dealings with you:

  • Accountability: We have policies and procedures governing how we manage personal information and a Chief Privacy Officer who oversees privacy governance.
  • Identifying purposes: We inform you of our reasons for collecting, using, and disclosing personal information.  
  • Consent: We obtain your consent to collect, use, or disclose personal information, unless otherwise authorized or required by applicable law. 
  • Limiting collection: We limit the personal information we collect to the information necessary for our identified purposes. 
  • Limiting use, disclosure, and retention: We limit the use and disclosure of personal information, and only use and retain such information for the purposes for which it is collected unless you consent to other uses. 
  • Accuracy: We keep your personal information as accurate, complete, and up to date as needed for its use. 
  • Safeguards: We maintain appropriate safeguards to protect personal information against loss and theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use, or modification. 
  • Openness: We are open about how we manage your personal information, and we make our privacy notices and codes available. 
  • Individual access: You may request access to your personal information and we will respond in accordance with applicable law.
  • Challenging compliance: You can challenge our compliance with these principles.
