Toronto FC
BMO is the premier partner of Toronto FC. The partnership began in the inaugural season in 2007. At home, Toronto FC plays at BMO Field, Canada’s first soccer-specific stadium. In 2018, BMO became the Official & Exclusive Partner of the Toronto FC Academy & BMO Training Ground. In 2022 BMO and TFC announced a 10-year renewal and expansion of their foundational partnership. This agreement ensures BMO is featured prominently on the Toronto FC kit and that the home of Toronto FC will continue to be named BMO Field. BMO Field will also proudly host matches during the 2026 FIFA World Cup with Toronto being recently announced as a host city.

Club de Foot Montréal
BMO has been the premier sponsor of CF Montréal since 2012, with BMO’s logo being proudly displayed on the team’s jersey every year. In 2023 BMO and CF Montreal announced another step forward in their commitment to gender equity in sports by introducing a women’s program to the CF Montréal Academy.

Vancouver Whitecaps
BMO Financial Group has been a proud sponsor of Vancouver Whitecaps since 2006. BMO is also affiliated with the Whitecaps Academy across the country and their Player Awards Ceremony, as well as helping to create a variety of great local initiatives such as the RESP Award.

Los Angeles FC
In February 2024 BMO announced that they are the Official Jersey Sponsor of 2022 MLS champions LAFC! This news follows the naming rights deal for LAFC’s home ground, BMO Stadium and a partnership with LAFC in January 2023. BMO’s ongoing support helps LAFC continue to deliver a world-class experience and engage with new fans and audiences, reaching beyond both borders and boundaries.

Angel City FC
In 2023 BMO joined the Angel City FC family as a Founding Partner. The partnership represents the bank’s ongoing commitments to equity in sport and helping to grow the game in North America, reinforcing BMO as The Bank of Soccer. Through the partnership BMO and Angel City FC reallocate 10% of the partnership to Girls Play LA, supporting over 400 high school aged girls and gender expansive youth across Los Angeles with no-cost access to soccer.
