Festivals
BMO is proud to support a vibrant array of festivals, reflecting our commitment to community enrichment and social impact.
Stratford Festival
BMO has been a sponsor of the Stratford Festival since its opening day over half a century ago. The Stratford Festival is a classical repertory theater located in Stratford, Ontario.
Summerfest
BMO has been a sponsor of Summerfest and Henry Maier Festival Park since 2006 and is the title sponsor of the BMO Pavilion, one of the largest stages at Henry Maier Festival Park. In addition to supporting community outreach programs including the BMO EMpower Grant Program since its inception in 2021, BMO has supported minority-owned businesses with more than $160,000 in grant funds for marketplace vendors at Summerfest, covering costs for materials, booth, staffing, and networking opportunities.

Banff Marathon
The Banff Marathon is one of the world's greenest marathons, with 99.01% waste diversion. Beside the marathon the event includes: Half Marathon, 10k, and BMO Kids Run. These offer incredible and beautiful running experiences, all inside Canada's first National Park. BMO started sponsoring BMO Kids Run in 2017, where children from 3 to 12 years old compete in different categories for free.
Calgary Stampede
The BMO and Calgary Stampede partnership began when BMO became the Stampede's official bank in 1912; it includes the BMO Farm Family Awards which honours those working in the agriculture industry, BMO Centre, BMO Kids' Zone, and BMO Kids' Day which serves up almost 30,000 pancakes annually. In 2017, the BMO Amphitheatre - an outdoor performance space for Calgary's youth - officially opened on Stampede Park's Youth Campus. In 2024 Calgary Stampede opened the new BMO Centre, the largest convention centre in Western Canada (more than 1 million square feet) and is expected to generate an economic benefit of $520 Million for the province of Alberta.
With the brand-new BMO Centre opening in 2024 in Calgary, BMO is proud to extend our partnership with the Calgary Stampede, the longest running sponsorship in BMO’s history.
Canada Army Run
As the Official Bank of the Canadian Defence Community, BMO has been a supporter of the Canada Army Run since 2009 and, in 2014, became the presenting sponsor of the event. Canada Army Run provides a chance for troops to extend military camaraderie to Canadians, and an opportunity for Canadians to say thank you to the men and women who serve our country in so many ways. The run raises funds for Soldier On and Support Our Troops.
Canadian Western Agribition
BMO is a proud Platinum Sponsor of the Canadian Western Agribition (CWA), which takes place in Regina, Saskatchewan. BMO has been sponsoring the event since 1979. Agribition is considered one of the most prominent beef shows in North America and the largest livestock show in Canada. In 2017, BMO introduced the Celebrating Women in Agriculture Award, in collaboration with the CWA.
Farmfair International
BMO is a proud partner of Farmfair International, one of Canada’s most important agricultural shows held in Edmonton, Alberta. A key pillar of this partnership is the BMO Farm Family Awards, which honours local families for their farming business practices, community involvement and overall contribution to the Alberta agriculture sector.
Navy Bike Ride
As the Official Bank of the Canadian Defense Community, BMO is proud to be the presenting sponsor of the Navy Bike Ride since its inception in 2016. The Navy Bike Ride is a fun family event open to cyclists of all skill levels and ages. Bike trailers, child seats and trailer cycles are welcome, so even the littlest members of the family can participate. Proceeds go to the Support our Troops foundation and the Royal Canadian Naval Benevolent Fund.
Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal
BMO has been a proud Season Partner of the "Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal” (OSM) since 2014. Through this partnership, BMO is the presenting sponsor of the Season, the presenting sponsor of the OSM in the Park events each summer, which brings on average more than 50,000 people in diverse communities. BMO and the OSM both have a long history of trust and community, and are proud to have an established partnership associated with excellence.
Pride & remembrance run
BMO is the Platinum Sponsor of the pride & remembrance run, an annual five-kilometre fundraising run/walk for LGBTQ+ charities in the Greater Toronto area. It has become an annual tradition promoting and fostering community spirit, goodwill, volunteerism and sportsmanship in the LGBTQ+ community.
Royal Manitoba Winter Fair
The Royal Manitoba Winter Fair (RMWF) has been a national gathering place for growers, breeders, and exhibitors, for more than 100 years. For over 20 years, BMO has been involved as a sponsor of the RMWF, celebrating our commitment to agriculture. At the event, BMO is proud to present the BMO Manitoba Farm Family Awards, which recognize outstanding families in the Manitoba farming community.
Spruce Meadows
As one of the found sponsors of Spruce Meadows, BMO has a long and proud history of supporting equestrian sport in Canada. Since 1977, BMO has sponsored the BMO Nations’ Cup at Spruce Meadows, attracting the top international show jumping teams to compete in Canada.
BMO Vancouver Marathon
Since 2007, BMO has been the title sponsor of Vancouver’s only not-for-profit marathon: the BMO Vancouver Marathon. The marathon is one of the oldest health and fitness-related events in Vancouver. It is also considered a destination marathon that welcomes runners from over 65 countries. BMO is proud to be aligned with a community-based event that is well-loved by spectators and participants alike.
Walk so Kids Can Talk - presented by BMO
BMO is a Founding Partner of Canada's only 24/7 e-mental health service offering free, multilingual and confidential support to help all young people Feel Out Loud. The BMO Walk so Kids Can Talk is Canada’s largest day of community action for child and youth emotional health and well-being, celebrating Mental Health Week each year. It is an inspirational, 5km walk where thousands of people across Canada join together to raise money in support of young people. Held on the first Sunday in May, the Walk allows Kids Help Phone to keep its services available to young people across Canada 24/7.

Angel City FC
In 2023 BMO joined the Angel City FC family as a Founding Partner. The partnership represents the bank’s ongoing commitments to equity in sport and helping to grow the game in North America, reinforcing BMO as The Bank of Soccer. Through the partnership BMO and Angel City FC reallocate 10% of the partnership to Girls Play LA, supporting over 400 high school aged girls and gender expansive youth across Los Angeles with no-cost access to soccer.
Chicago Blackhawks
BMO is proud to be a longstanding partner of the Chicago Blackhawks. As part of the partnership, BMO offers fans the BMO Blackhawks Debit Mastercard, which provides customers with a discount on merchandise at the team store. BMO is also the official sponsor of Blackhawks Pride initiatives supporting the LGBTQ+ community.
Chicago Bulls
BMO has been the official bank of the Chicago Bulls for over 15 years. Key features of our partnership include the BMO Bulls Debit Mastercard and community focused initiatives like the artist hat series and minority owned business series.
Chicago Sky
BMO is an official partner of Chicago’s WNBA Team, the Chicago Sky, 2021 WNBA champions! BMO is a premier sponsor of Chicago Sky’s Beyond Basketball program, focused on economic development to aid in rebuilding and sustaining Black-owned businesses in the Chicagoland area.
Chicago White Sox
BMO is an official partner of Chicago White Sox. Through our partnership, BMO provides convenient ATMs for fans throughout the ballpark. BMO partners with the White Sox to highlight minority- and women-owned local businesses throughout Chicago.
Los Angeles FC
In February 2024 BMO announced that they are the Official Jersey Sponsor of 2022 MLS champions LAFC! This news follows the naming rights deal for LAFC's home ground, BMO Stadium and a partnership with LAFC in January 2023. BMO’s ongoing support helps LAFC continue to deliver a world-class experience and engage with new fans and audiences, reaching beyond both borders and boundaries.
Milwaukee Bucks
Since 1992, BMO is proud to be the Official Bank of the Milwaukee Bucks and Founding Partner of the Bucks home arena. Key features of the partnership include the BMO Club and BMO Bucks Debit Mastercard. In addition to the Bucks partnership, BMO was the first major partner of the Wisconsin Herd, the Bucks’ G League affiliate in Oshkosh, WI.
Minnesota Wild
BMO is a proud partner of the Minnesota Wild and The State of Hockey. As part of our partnership BMO sponsors the BMO Flagbearer which highlights the best of youth hockey in Minneapolis/St Paul.
CF Montreal
BMO has been the premier sponsor of CF Montréal since 2012, with BMO's logo being proudly displayed on the team's jersey every year. In 2023 BMO and CF Montréal announced that both organizations are taking another step forward in advancing gender equity in sports by introducing a women’s program to the CF Montréal Academy.
Rockford Ice Hogs
BMO has been a sponsor since 2011. In 2022, BMO signed a new 10-year agreement for the naming rights of the BMO Center and sponsorship of the IceHogs. BMO has proudly partnered with the IceHogs to recognize local businesses serving the Rockford community at home games throughout the season.
Toronto Argos
BMO has been a partner of the Toronto Argos since the 2016 season. The home of the Toronto Argos is also BMO Field. The BMO Coaches Awards is a program where BMO and the Toronto Argonauts recognize a coach at every game who has made an impact in growing and developing the game of football in their school or community.
Toronto FC
BMO is the premier partner of Toronto FC. The partnership began in the inaugural season in 2007. At home, Toronto FC plays at BMO Field, Canada’s first soccer-specific stadium. In 2018, BMO became the Official & Exclusive Partner of the Toronto FC Academy & BMO Training Ground. In 2022 BMO and TFC announced a 10-year renewal and expansion of their foundational partnership. This agreement ensures BMO is featured prominently on the Toronto FC kit and that the home of Toronto FC will continue to be named BMO Field.
Vancouver Whitecaps
BMO has been a proud sponsor of Vancouver Whitecaps since 2006. As presenting partner of the Whitecaps BMO Academy System, BMO has shown its commitment to gender equity, playing a leadership role in the development of soccer across the country for girls and boys.
