BMO offers a wide range of services to give you around-the-clock access to your accounts, so you can do your banking whenever it's convenient for you. You can access your account through the following:
BMO Bank by Phone
Bank by Phone is available in English and Spanish; for Spanish, press 8. Additional languages are available upon request.
We accept calls made via Telecommunications Relay Service (TRS). This type of service allows for two-way communications for those with hearing or speech disabilities. Communicating with BMO using email
BMO is committed to providing you with a secure messaging environment. You can confidently receive and open emails and their associated attachments sent by our representatives, knowing your information is protected.
Our Secure Message Center and email encryption service scrambles your personal, financial or confidential information. It's transmitted and stored, for up to 90 days, in a format accessible only to those with the correct password.

Branch services
We are committed to ensuring that all our customers have access to our products and services. Our branches provide level or ramped entries to accommodate customers with disabilities. Many of our branches also offer wheelchair-height seating arrangements at service counters. BMO has been applying the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards in its construction of branches since the ADA standards went into effect.
As required by the ADA, a comprehensive plan has been developed to address other accessibility issues such as the use of service animals and providing interpreter services.
Service animals
We recognize that service animals provide various types of assistance that will allow you to conduct your business with us. Customers with disabilities who use service animals are welcome at BMO.
Access is permitted in all areas open to the public. Service animals do not require certification but should be well-trained and under control of the handler at all times.
ATM Services
Our ATMs are accessible to our customers and employees with disabilities. BMO has made the following accommodations at its ATMs.
Height and Reach
Walk-up ATM height and front accessibility is available for wheelchair users.
Speech output / privacy
Our ATMs are audio enabled in English and Spanish, giving our customers the ability to hear private voice instructions when conducting an ATM transaction using customer supplied headphones.
Input controls / function & numeric keys
Keys used to operate our ATMs are tactilely discernible with key surfaces raised above the surrounding surface and visually contrasting against the background surface.
Numeric keys are arranged in a 12-key ascending telephone keypad layout with the number five key tactilely distinct from the other keys.
Braille instructions
BMO ATMs have Braille instructions to enable audio assistance.

Account information & print materials
On request, we can provide:
- Checks in large print, and with or without perforated lines to provide tactile guidance for writing. You can make a request for large print checks by contacting 1-888-340-2265.
- Certain documents and statements may be available in Braille format upon request. Please contact your BMO Banker for details.
You also have the option to view your statements in a larger font electronically.
