Creditor Insurance
To file a claim on a BMO loan, Mortgage, or Line of Credit, visit the Creditor Insurance site.
To file a claim for a Commercial Lending Product, contact your local branch.
To file a claim if you have BMO Credit Card Balance Insurance, call 1-800-268-5962.

While there is no mandated time frame, you can be sure our claim teams strive to respond promptly to all claims.
We will work with you to deliver the claim settlement in your preferred method.
The process begins with the insured, beneficiary or executor of an estate filing a claim with us. We will send you the relevant claims package to be completed. When we have all required documentation returned to us, the claim filing will be evaluated with a final decision.
