BMO AIR MILES World Elite Business Mastercard Terms & Conditions


  1. Offer is cumulative over the statement period. Award of Miles is made for purchases charged to your account (less refunds and excluding cash advances, cash-like transactions, interest charges, fees, credit or debit adjustments) and is subject to the Terms and Conditions of the AIR MILES Reward Program and the BMO Business Mastercard Cardholder Agreement. The number of Miles will be rounded down to the nearest whole number. Fractions of Miles will not be awarded.
  2. a. BMO AIR MILES World Elite Business Mastercard (‘Credit Card’) applications must be received between November 1, 2021 and April 30, 2024 (the ‘Offer Period’) to be eligible for the following Bonus Miles and Annual Fee Waiver offers (each an ‘Offer’ and collectively the ‘Offers’):

    AIR MILES Bonus Miles Offer: Get 3,000 Bonus Miles when you spend a minimum of $5,000 (less refunds and excluding cash advances, cash-like transactions, interest charges, fees, credit or debit adjustments) on purchases using the Credit Card within the first three (3) months from the Credit Card account open date. The Bonus Miles will be credited to the primary Credit Cardholder’s AIR MILES Collector Account within (60) business days following the qualifying $5,000 spend. All Bonus Miles are credited in accordance with the set balance preference (between AIR MILES Cash and AIR MILES Dream Accounts) at the time of posting. The AIR MILES Bonus Miles Offer is subject to the AIR MILES Reward Program Terms and Conditions. Limit of one AIR MILES Bonus Miles Offer per Collector Number.

    b. Annual Fee Waiver Offer: The primary cardholder’s annual fee of $149 will be rebated in the first year and will appear as a fee and a credit on the primary cardholder’s first statement. The primary owner’s annual card fee applies after the first year and will appear on your account statement twelve (12) months after the account open date. If an additional cardholder is added to the account within the first year, the Additional Card annual fee of $50 per card will be charged at a prorated rate and will not be waived or rebated.

Existing BMO AIR MILES World Elite Business Mastercard customers who cancel their card during the “Offer Period” and existing BMO Business Mastercard customers who transfer into this Credit Card product during the “Offer Period” are not eligible for the Offers. If the Credit Card is cancelled within ninety (90) days from the date it was opened, all Miles earned within that period will be cancelled.
  3. Ongoing interest rates, interest-free grace period, annual fees and all other applicable fees are subject to change.   4. A maximum of 22 additional employee cards can be added to a primary cardholder’s account. Employee cards have an annual fee of $50 for every additional cardholder added to the account.   7. Mastercard Travel Pass benefit includes membership to participating lounges within the Mastercard Travel Pass provided by DragonPass program – approximate membership value of US$68. Enjoy lounge access for a fee of just US$32 per person, per visit. Mastercard Travel Pass provided by DragonPass is a worldwide program run by DragonPass International Ltd. This benefit will be available to all cardholders of a BMO AIR MILES World Elite Business Mastercard (“eligible cardholders”). Eligible cardholders are required to comply with the Conditions of Use available online at mastercardtravelpass.dragonpass.com or on the Mastercard Travel Pass mobile application, as well as any additional terms and conditions applicable to the lounge or offer being used by the eligible cardholder. The Conditions of Use are subject to change from time to time without notice to Issuer or the eligible cardholders. Eligible cardholders wishing to access a participating lounge must present their Mastercard Travel Pass mobile app or membership document showing the QR code and DragonPass membership number (this may be obtained by the eligible cardholder by registering an account at mastercardtravelpass.dragonpass.com or downloading the Mastercard Travel Pass application from the app store) to the lounge receptionist and reference “Mastercard Travel Pass provided by DragonPass.” Some offers may be subject to a per-person, per-visit charge. Where applicable and dependent upon the offer, access charges, including those for an accompanying guest, may be charged to your credit card.   11. Maple’s physicians, nurse practitioners, and allied healthcare professionals are Canadian licensed and practice in their respective fields right here in Canada. If a cardholder is outside of their province of residence or abroad, they can still access their visits on Maple and connect with these professionals. For an additional fee, Maple also offers access to a wide variety of specialists such as dermatologists and endocrinologists.     The primary cardholder and a co-owner (if applicable) on the BMO AIR MILES World Elite Business Mastercard credit card account, will each receive an onboarding email from Maple within the first 14 days the BMO AIR MILES World Elite Business Mastercard credit card account is opened. The primary cardholder and co-owner must register through this email invite in order to access their covered visits and are subject to the terms provided by Maple for use of its services. So long as BMO offers eligible cardholders access to this benefit, the 5 covered visits will renew every calendar year (January to December). If the BMO AIR MILES World Elite Business Mastercard credit card account is closed, the primary cardholder and co-owner forfeit any covered visits that have not been used.
  12. For BMO World Elite Business Mastercard and BMO World Elite AIR MILES Business Mastercard credit card products: The name, language preference, and email address of the owner (and co-owner, as applicable) will be shared with Maple, so that Maple can send the owner(s) an email invitation to create their Maple account for access to 5 free virtual care visits (you can choose to connect with a doctor in minutes or access mental health counselling). Registration is optional. Maple is a Canadian virtual care provider offering access to online doctors, virtual healthcare & prescriptions in Canada.
