Help with My Account Summary

The My Account Summary page provides a snapshot of your BMO accounts and credit card or Line of Credit linked to your BMO Debit Card for Business.

Accounts not appearing on your My Account Summary

If you have BMO accounts that are missing from your account summary page, please contact your Account Manager or visit your branch. Once the accounts are linked to your BMO Debit Card for Business, you will be able to access these accounts through Online Banking. Accounts must be in the same name of the business to appear on your My Account Summary page.

Account balance

Your account balance is the amount of money in your account and includes all transactions posted. Overdraft protection and Operating Line of Credit, if applicable, are not included in your account balance.

Small Business Line of Credit account balance and transaction details

Transaction details are available on a Commercial Line of Credit, Small Business Line of Credit, Small Business Homeowner's ReadiLine of Credit or Small Business Homeowner's Line of Credit if the account has a MasterCard access card and is linked to your BMO Debit Card for Business.

If you do not have a MasterCard access card for the Line of Credit, you can view the balances on these accounts through Online Banking.

Help with My Shortcuts

You can add eligible Online Banking pages you use or visit most often to your My Shortcuts. Just go to the page you would like to add and click on the Add this page link located in the My Shortcuts box on the bottom left hand side of the page. Pages you can add are:

  • most transaction or service related pages such as Make a Payment or My Security Settings
  • most pages that are on the My Profile & Preferences tab

Pages that cannot be added will not display the Add this page link in the My Shortcuts box.

You can also make changes to your My Shortcuts by clicking on the edit link.

Transaction codes

Every transaction completed on your account has a code that appears in your account history. Please refer to the chart for the code and corresponding transaction type.
