The BMO Growth Balanced Fund is the successor to the portfolio of a collective trust fund managed by the Adviser. The quoted performance data includes the performance of the collective trust fund for the periods before the BMO Growth Balanced Fund commenced operations, not adjusted to reflect the BMO Growth Balanced Fund's expenses. The collective trust fund was not registered under the Investment Company Act of 1940 ("1940 Act") and therefore was not subject to certain investment restrictions that are imposed by the 1940 Act. If the collective trust fund had been registered under the 1940 Act, the performance may have been adversely affected.
Net expense ratios reflect contractual fee waivers and/or expense reimbursements if applicable, made by BMO Asset Management Corp., the investment adviser (Adviser). The Adviser may not terminate these fee waivers and/or expense reimbursements prior to December 31, 2018 without the consent of the Board of Directors, unless the investment advisory agreement is terminated. Without these contractual waivers, the Fund's returns would have been lower.
Each Target Risk Fund is subject to the volatility of the financial markets, including equity and fixed income investments in the U.S. and abroad and may be subject to risks associated with investing in high yield, small cap, commodity-linked, and foreign securities.
Asset allocation funds are designed to be an integral part of an investor's overall retirement investment strategy. However, they are not designed to provide investors with a complete solution to their retirement needs. Investors must consider many factors when choosing an investment strategy for their retirement.
Gross expense ratios for this Fund are based on estimated expenses for the current fiscal year because it is a new Fund.
