You can apply online, at a BMO branch or by phone. We offer 2 different student credit cards – both provide SPC benefits and have no annual fee. BMO also has other credit card options, so visit the BMO Help Me Choose online tool. After a few clicks, the tool will suggest which credit card best fits your needs. Remember, to apply for either of the BMO SPC MasterCard cards, you need to be of age of majority in your province or territory of residence and a student between the ages of 18 – 24 at a recognized college or university.

Saving on a fixed budget definitely takes some creativity but you are a student, after all.
This is my first credit card so I really wanted to make the right decision, especially since I wanted a no-fee card that came with benefits. I found that you just can’t beat the savings offered by the BMO SPC MasterCard . I use mine to get discounts both off and on campus. To decide between the BMO SPC AIR MILES MasterCard or BMO SPC CashBack MasterCard, I used the Compare Cards online tool.
