Trip Interruption/Trip Delay Benefits
- Up to $2,000 reimbursement of the extra cost of a one-way economy airfare to your departure or destination point and any non-refundable land arrangements.
- Applies if an unexpected death in the family or an illness affects you or your travelling companion, or other specific unexpected circumstances occur during your trip that cause you to interrupt your trip.
Flight Delay Benefits
Up to $500 for reasonable additional accommodation and travelling expenses incurred because the arrival or departure of your regularly scheduled airline flight was delayed more than six hours.
Baggage and Personal Effects Benefits
- Up to $750 per insured person towards the actual cash value of baggage and personal effects that are lost, damaged or stolen.
- Up to $200 reimbursement for the purchase of necessities if your checked baggage is delayed by the carrier for 12 hours or more.
Trip Cancellation (Optional)
- Up to $20,000* reimbursement of the prepaid portion of your trip that is non-refundable or non-transferable to another travel date.
- Applies if an unexpected death in the family or an illness affects you or your travelling companion, or other specific unexpected circumstances occur before your planned departure.
