Important Resources
There are many resources out there to help you determine how the RDSP works and whether or not you are eligible for this investment.
Canada Revenue Agency
The Canada Revenue Agency has a site set up that can answer many of your outstanding questions around the RDSP and eligibility requirements. The site also contains all the relevant forms you need to apply for the Disability Tax Credit in order to qualify for the RDSP.
Community Partnerships
BMO has been working extensively with many community organizations such as Abilities Magazine, Independent Living Canada , PLAN to better educate the Canadian public on the benefits of the RDSP and how it works. Through these partnerships BMO customers can also benefit from occasional discounts or various promotions, with these organizations, throughout the year.
RDSP Workshops
BMO has developed RDSP workshops designed to provide clarity on how to benefit from RDSPs. These sessions provide an overview of the RDSP program, how to apply, details of the generous Grants and Bonds provided by the government, and provides guidance in managing these investments. These workshops facilitated by a BMO representative are free and provide it’s participants with the knowledge needed to invest for their future.
Contact the BMO Investment Centre at 1-800-665-7700 today to find out more about setting up a workshop with your organization or to see if there are any currently scheduled in your area.
