David Casper is Executive Vice-President and Head of Commercial Banking, Personal and Commercial Banking U.S. He is responsible for leading the commercial banking business at Harris.

From 2006 to 2009, Mr. Casper served as Executive Managing Director and Co-Head, Investment & Corporate Banking U.S. for BMO Capital Markets. In this role, he was responsible for coordinating the investment and corporate banking activities of the U.S. industry sector and product groups.

Mr. Casper began his career with BMO Financial Group working at Harris in Chicago. After rising through a series of increasingly responsible roles in 1994, he was appointed to lead our corporate banking business in the Midwest. In 1997, he joined BMO Capital Markets as Director, Investment Banking, where his primary focus was on mergers and acquisitions, private and public capital raising and general advisory services. From 2003 to 2006, he was Managing Director, Head of Financial Sponsors for our Investment and Corporate Banking group in the U.S.

A Wisconsin native, Mr. Casper received a Masters of Management Degree from Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a BA (AB) from Dartmouth College. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Ounce of Prevention Fund and the Chicago Public Library Foundation.
