Account Information & Print Materials

On request, we can currently provide the following materials in alternative formats (in English and French):

  • Cheques (in Large Print) without or with perforated lines to provide tactile guidance for writing
  • Everyday Banking Statements (Large Print, Braille, Audio, and E-Text)
  • Business Banking Statements (Large Print, Braille, Audio, and E-Text)
  • RDSP Statements (Large Print, Braille, Audio, and E-Text)
  • BMO Mutual Fund Statements (Large Print, Braille, Audio, and E-Text)

You can make a request for Large Print, Braille, Audio, or E-text statements through your branch or by contacting 1-877-225-5266.

The alternative format statements will include the same information as your regular print statement, with the exception of legal and other disclosures. We will still continue to provide your regular print statements in addition to the alternate format statements selected.

Large Print

Large Print documents improve readability beyond standard design and formatting. This includes a larger point size (16 points, Arial) for characters plus the use of non-serif fonts, increased spacing and improved contrast.

Braille

Grade 1 or Grade 2

Audio

Audio format uses a professional narrator to read text recorded on a CD.

E-Text

E-Text is a portable electronic storage method for delivering computer files to customers that do not have web or e-mail access. All graphical components, including relevant photographs, charts and illustrations are fully explained in text and stored electronically on to a CD.
