BMO employees have been designating their annual pledges to charities of their choice since November 1, 2010. We're pleased to announce that employees raised a record $13.5 million in 2012 for local charities and United Ways across North-America.
Recently, employee giving at BMO has undergone a renewal and effective April 1, 2011, BMO Employee Charitable Foundation's holdings will have been fully disbursed and grant funding will no longer be available through the Foundation. This means that going forward, employees will continue to support local charities by designating their donations directly to the charity of their choice through our annual employee giving pledge campaign.
